is to inform you of the most current and up-to-date
information regarding physical therapy billing.
The course is divided into six sections:

5) Building A Claim
6) Terminology and Abbreviations
It is our intention to help
create a better relationship between the physical therapist,
patient, staff, and the insurance carrier to allow for
better management and collection of money.
Each physical therapy office is
unique and we have covered basic billing principles that
relate to each scope or diversity of practice. A Physical
Therapy Practice must practice therapy in accordance with
the laws of their state.
Physical therapy offices have various forms. We have made
these forms available in PDF format for viewing and
printing. After viewing the forms, you may want to edit or
change your own forms similarly.
This course was developed for all Billing Services, and
those that bill for Physical Therapists. It is intended for
Physical Therapy Assistants, physical therapy students,
Office Managers, for the patient who wants to learn, or
better understand insurance benefits, and for Physical
Therapists.
